Epilogue-#USElections2016

The primetime of news channels on the 9th of November were all taken up by the news of Donald Trump being elected as the new president of USA. He will be the 45th President-Elect of US. Not only this, but the Republicans also won the 'US Senate' and the 'US House'.

While it came as a surprise to a lot of people, the poll predictors were not shocked at all. This was because the opinion of a group of poll predictors and scientists was in favor of Trump. The race this time was extremely close and it became evident only in the last hour that Trump would win. Trump was in the front since the beginning, but he lost momentum when the Democrats won the state of California (which was expected). Though, he largely caught up after he won the state of Florida.

The predicted battleground states were all won by Donald Trump. Though, it was a surprise that Michigan, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire and Wisconsin became the battleground states in the last few hours. These states helped Trump to win the elections as there was a narrow gap between the two candidates until the results for these states were out.

The reason that Hillary Clinton lost control to the White House was because her focus was on the bigger districts in Michigan, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. While the other smaller districts were won by Trump which helped him win the elections. Also, people were surprised when Clinton won Virginia and Trump won Pennsylvania as the latter was expected to win Virginia and the former was expected to win Pennsylvania.

While Trump will lead with confidence and try to head America in the right way, I do believe that he will take extreme actions which will not be appreciated by people worldwide.
